Success in Court in the Case Concerning the Repayment of Funding from the FGPŚ!

We are proud to announce another victory for our firm’s Labor Law Team. The court of first instance dismissed in its entirety the claim filed by the Provincial Labor Office (WUP) against our client.

What wad the dispute about?

The WUP demanded that our client repay the funding granted during the pandemic to protect jobs in connection with COVID-19. The office’s claim concerned a portion of the funds allocated for social security contributions (ZUS). The amount in dispute was nearly 500,000 PLN (over 750,000 PLN including interest).

The Court's Ruling

The court fully concurred with the legal arguments presented by our team from the very beginning of the proceedings and found the WUP’s claims to be entirely unfounded. This is an extremely important ruling for business owners who faithfully preserved jobs during the difficult period of the pandemic.
